Hone eagle, for those of us towing our own personal trailers/5ers( non commercial). The CVOR exemption is for the GVWR on the door of the PU truck. If you are 6000 kilos and below you're exempt. We're not talking the RGW here. Now it depends on what the weight on the ground is of your 5er and MH. If over 11000( 24600 Lbs) kilos combined then you will have to go to the AR ticket. Like I said above, I re register the weight rating of my dually to 11000 kilos in May and then bring it back down to 4500 kilos in October, as per what I was told to do by the person at MOT. It costs $10.00 to re register and then whatever they charge for the difference in the weight change. Not cheap but better than getting a number of charges by the MOT and police. That is to make sure I'm legal with the combined weight on the ground. With the TV and 5er plus being loaded with water and an extra 50 gallons of water, etc. I have never exceeded 11000 kilos. I don't know how that is going to work for you with the MH and 5er.
Thanks pipe ,on a CAT scale Iam just over 16000 kg total . I will investigate a re register
but a A-R sounds like the way to go .
My 'B' makes me familiar with the whole circle check procedure and a medical is already on my lic.,
