Well gents, I just went to Service Ontario to have the weight rating on my registration upped to 11000 kilos. Not get my license sticker. I have been doing this for a few years now on recommendation from the MOT. I drop it back down in October when the 5er goes into storage So the lady brings up the computer and enters the info. It says there's a "Hard Stop" because of a CVOR.I tell her it's for a personal RV only, nothing commercial. So she writes out a phone number which I have to call, to find out what I need for an exemption. I told her what I need and have but I'm not getting a sticker for my plate. She says she can't go any further right now. So I came home. Anyway I just called and the woman at the MOT CVOR office told me I was absolutely right in my quest. She also said and I quote, "Service Ontario,is a pain in my A** and I hate them". So tomorrow I will try again and if I have a problem to tell them to call her, which they will not want to do, she says. So the saga continues...again
