oregon coast to Boise ID
How is state road 26 , any one ever take that route? As far as a mountainous route, how is it?

Where on the coast? You likely will want to take 22 out of Salem to Bend, follow signs to 20 east toward Burns. 26 is more scenic and an easy drive but also more twisty. 20 your going to miss some neat scenery like the John Day Fossil beds and Cam Wha Chang historic museum.
