Over- Nighting in Tehachapi CA?

Double check this by going to Love's website. Verify that the truck stop there is Love's (which I'm pretty sure it is) & that overnighting is permitted at this one. (It was when I checked for my daughter about 2 years ago.) Having said that, Mountain Valley RV park is one we checked out that I would recommend to avoid the noise of a truck stop but still have hook-ups. It is a couple of miles off the road though. Very peaceful. Orange Grove RV park is a very well thought of park just off 58 a few miles east of Bakersfield. We've stayed there many times.
