Overnight Parking Security in Anchorage

We will be in Anchorage Mid July 2015. We will leave the rig to fly to Kotzebue for two nights. Will the rig be more safe and secure parked at the airport,or a paid campground spot? This is a security question, not a budget question. Thanks all - this website has been invaluable in our trip planning. We can't wait for our trip !

    I you're going to stay in Anch for a little while, I'd use an RV park. If you're just there to catch the plane, I'd use the large parking area close to the airport and use their shuttle to the terminal. Security shouldn't be a problem either way. There's no problem getting your RV to the airport long term lot,I just don't know if they will take a MH though they always have room for it when I drive by.
