Overnight parking west of Chicago/Joliet

Question

We've stayed at walmarts on route 80 (needs to be easy off route 80) but looking this time for something a little more quiet or if you know a walmart that is more quiet.

Not too far west of say Morris, IL which I think is where we stayed in walmart.

Are Home depots overnight spots? How are the rest areas (too much truck noise)?
We are basically going to sleep and go early next a.m. It will be in October as we head west from NY.

Oh, we want free too...

You can use the Allstays app (or allstays.com) to find a Walmart store that allow overnight stays. I believe there is one in Ottawa, which is a little west of Morris, which might work for you.

Hollywood Casino is in Joliet. They have an RV park but I am thinking that you could probably park in the casino parking lot overnight...if you are stealthy

There is a Menards off the Morris exit. Like Home Depot. Don't know if they allow it though. Maybe.
Cracker Barrel at Houbolt road Joliet exit. Rest area just east of I-55. In Morris, I've seen an RV parked overnight at a city lot across Rt 47 from the Citgo gas station at 101 Division St. (47)
