Dear Mr: moisheh, owning property by foreigners is not a problem at all, some people do not understand that an individual needs to have a Government stamp of approval for staying in Mexico, same thing goes for the US, Mexicans buy property in San Diego, in Coronado there is a condominium complex next to the Amphibious Base, we call them the Taco Towers or the Tortilla Flats, 86% owned by Mexicans, those that are there permanently have applied for resident visas, not green cards.
Then you have the ones that purchase or rent property in Mexico and believe that that gives them the right to stay in Mexico with out getting the correct documents to do so, all they are asking for is trouble.
