Highway 1 is a very narrow, winding 2-lane that hugs the coast, often with steep drops on the ocean side. It might be a white-knuckler if you are not accustomed to driving a large motorhome. I recommend figuring in an average speed of 25 to 30. Search Youtube for videos.
