Paper Money - Old v New Pesos
Are BOTH of these versions valid and usable? Something in the back of my mind that I read about old currency no longer usable...

Old pesos are no longer accepted by stores or retail banks......they can be exchanged for current value at the BANK OF MEXICO.
Current valve for old $100 peso.......$.10 peso (On January 1, 1993 Mexico re-based its currency, removing three zeroes from all denominations and launching the New Peso)
Yes they have some value...........but if you don't have a bunch of $50,000/$100,000 pesos not worth time/effort to travel to BANK OF MEXICO
