Are BOTH of these versions valid and usable? Something in the back of my mind that I read about old currency no longer usable...

I have to agree with daveB110 on the Shopkeepers attitude! They do seem to have issues with notes that have too many wrinkles or a torn corner!
If it came from a Bank Machine it should be a non issue!
