briansue: The fact that one country has a worse crime rate or car jacking than Mexico does not affect anything that happens in Mexico. Twisted logic. If 10,00 people were murdered in the USA and only 9000 in Mexico does that make Mexico safe? Statistics mean nothing. It is all about perception and unfortunately Mexico gets a bad "rep" for anything that happens. Stop in any RV park in the Southwest and start talking about Mexico and you will get some wild stories and comments about safety. Of course they are not factual. But those old folks think that bandits are behind every tree or cactus. No amount of posting statistics will change that perception.
