Privatization is underway and going well. Foreign companies are investing billions in natural gas pipelines, technologies and exploration.
Mexican gas stations, which are all franchised operations, now have the option to vary their fuel prices by a short centavo range that will soon open even more making fuel prices more competative in Mexico.
These are all baby steps in the process of privatization. Opening up stations in the U.S. market is sure to bring more reforms.
