Most gasolineras down here have spotless restrooms that have that "disinfectant smell". Stainless steel, tile, sensor sink faucets, giant roll TP dispensers, and some even have electric hand dryers. The bad-old-days are history.
Pemex disclosed information a couple of months ago that a full FIFTY PERCENT of their gasoline sales stock is imported (refined in the USA and Japan). But 90+% of diesel sales are Mexican refined. Even MARINE DIESEL which the motoring public cannot buy and costs 50% of gasolinera diesel. It's the old, yellow, 900PPM thick stuff that I used to label as Diesel No 2-1/2. Fabulous fuel mileage.
