Yes, needs sorting out because there are too many places where luck rather than written rules plays a major part in whether you get through or not. For example

So obviously this is just a case of clever trickery to get across the border - a case of fighting fire with fire - but it would be better for all travellers coming later if the issue could be fixed. As in this permit issuye, the RHD one is being addressed, but as usual might take another 6 months.

Our tips
- Tint your windows.
- Put a rug or blanket on your dash hiding the gauge cluster and steering wheel
- Set up a curtain between your front seats and rear hiding the RHD from the inspection people when they check your rear set up.
- When you arrive at the inspection site, pop your hood/bonnet so they can check your vin (and it also hides the fact that it's a RHD).
- Carry fruit in a readily available basket near the rear door as a distraction.
- put on a song and dance talking with your hands without being too noticeable you're hiding the fact that you're distracting them.
- Check with the final guard with all your stamped documents on foot prior to driving past the final booth where he will walk up to your rig as you unroll the window displaying your RHD.
