Here are some of the email addresses I have sent email to. CIITEV responded once and said to contact SAT. They told me about several laws – all of which have different wording and are very confusing. I also have emailed SECTUR and the Mexican Consulate in Phoenix – no replies of any kind from either of them.
Then I just thought of FONATUR which is related to SECTUR and built the RV park in Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo in recent years – which tells us they are aware of RVs and that RVers could bring money. This law and stopping at the border could cause that park to be vacant. I can’t find a way to email FONATUR other than the form online at the website – no specific email address.
Anyone who wants to can try asking these agencies why they blocking US and Canadian tourists from bringing tourist dollars to Mexico – why they want to put RV parks in Mexico out of business.
