Have been 3 times. The first time left cape cod mid May arrived home mid Oct. Thought we'd never get the opportunity to do it again. Wrong. Have flown out and done the ferry system once rented a log cabin outside of Haines. Last time flew to Anchorage and rented an rv. Don't wait to late in season. Terminal snow,no salmon and many places closed for season and this was September.
