Planing a trip to Mexico with my family(safety concerns)

Would I take my kids into the back country of Mexico away from normal tourist areas???? Hell no......There are those who go and nothing happens but just remember what my Grandma use to say...play with fire and sooner or later you're gonna get burned......listen to those who live in the border states like Ca. Az. and Texas....Read quick cause they don't like it when we bad mouth Mexico...Oh by the way yes I go to Mexico and I like Mexico but I stick to major tourist locations, not the back roads....fly....
