Planing a trip to Mexico with my family(safety concerns)

For many folks, when they arrive in Mexico the first time they are unseasoned travelers.

Sadly, if you don't face your fears and go traveling, you can't become a seasoned traveler!

Would you willingly travel to Tulsa OK or Atlanta GA or Nashville TN? Those cities have neighborhoods where you have a very high probability of becoming victim to a violent crime.

Is Mexico Safe?

The travel writers at Lonely Planet think Mexico is safer than the US.
