I get the biggest laughs reading these forums about "Mexico". Sort of like reading posts from a bunch of Mongolians discussing A Texas Chili Cookoff Competition. Some participants are from Mexico. Their comments are rational.
Come on down. Join in the fun at the RV parks, listen to what genuine RV Mexico travelers have to say to you in person, then go from park to park and hear basically the same thing.
One thing for a fact. Flat out. Your children will be safer down here than they will be north of the border. Do a quick run through about children and scorpions which is posted on the net. Show them a picture and tell them the creature's sting hurts worse than a wasp sting. They'll remember.
But now, excuse me, I have to return to weeping about having to stay in the USA for several days...
