In St John's...... Quiddi Vidi with it's mini brewery should not be missed. Signal Hill, Cape Spear, the Railway Coastal Museum, fish and chips on Henry Street, and so much more. Tons of history there.
We were a bit surprised to find a beautiful modern city but with all of the stereotypical attractions associated with Newfoundland. Think-----A fisherman in his rain gear (including a sou'wester) standing in a dorey hauling in a longline during a raging nor'easter.
Funny, I was born and raised in Nova Scotia, but had never been to Newfoundland. Only after moving to BC (4000 miles away) did it become important to visit this amazing province. We spent 10 days there, but when we go back, it will be for at least a month. We missed so much.
Everyone I talk to that’s been to Newfoundland says it’s a “must do” trip. I’m sure we’re going to love it.
Thanks:)
