Fortunately this forum shows the text of the OP when you hover over the subject line. So you don't have to go entirely by the cryptic subject line.
I don't know which is worse, the 'help please' subject line, or the 'Wickenberg to Cottonwood...' type. I was told in one such case that if I didn't recognize the names I had no business contributing to the thread.
Informative subject lines also help the OP - by getting the attention of people who really know.
Sloppy route number labels bug me too. Usually though they don't lead to serious confusion. Interstate, Federal, and state numbers rarely overlap in the same area.
But I realize many posters who ask questions like this are new, and cut them a lot of slack.
(my own posts have a lot of typos).
