Porteau Cove Prov. Pk.
Would like feedback on camping at Porteau Cove P.P. in B.C. At minimum we want water and electricity.

In short, spectacular. Trains aren't a big deal really, especially in a hard sided rv. The plus is ocean front sites, gorgeous sunsets, beachcombing, 40 min drive to downtown Vancouver etc.
The downside, as mentioned above, it's near impossible to book. 6 years ago we could book a weekend with a month's notice. Not anymore.
Alice lake is a good second place option (I am going there tonight), but it's a distant second.
