Portland OR, St George UT Earliest and latest travel Months?

Next year we will be traveling in a fifth wheel from Portland, Oregon to Salt Lake on I84, then I15 down to St George. Beside summer, what are the safe months to travel this route? March at the earl...

I would not rule out anytime. Big item would be the Blue Mtns. in northeast Oregon. Watching weather and being flexible is key trip planning.
