Portland to Olympic NP (stop by Mt Rainier along the route)

Leaving from Portland tomorrow to travel to Port Angeles, WA. Would like to stop at Mt. Ranier NP along the way. Google taking me: I-5 to 12east - to 7north (through Ranier and up to Tacoma) - 1...

Tacoma is a Zoo, there has been major construction for the last 6 or 7 years and it looks like for the next 6 or 7 years or more :(

It's like a nightmare that will never end Ugh !
