Portland to South Lake Tahoe
We would like to travel to Crater Lake, then to Tahoe. What are some rv friendly hwys (besides I5)to get there? Would like to bypass Sacramento if possible. Thanks!

another option:
I-5 to Hwy 58 at Eugene (some climbs and curves just take it slow), 97 to Crater Lake. If you need a campground, Collier Memorial State Park is the nearest to Crater Lake. Then at Klamath Falls, take Hwys 39-139 to Canby, then 299 to US395 south to Lake Tahoe.
