A more "doable" route is to take the southern route east, highway 3 to Keremeos then north through the Okanagan valley to Vernon, over the Monashees to Nakusp, Kaslo and south to Creston, rejoin hwy3 to Cranbrook, north to Radium then east through Kootenay NP.
Do Banff and the Bow Valley/Icefields Parkways to Jasper, return to Lake louise then Yoho NP to Golden, hwy1 to Revelstoke then either return via Vernon or Kamloops to Vancouver.
Probably works out with a few side trips to about 4000km.
Plenty of excellent campgrounds along this route.
Don't forget you will need to be camping within a reasonable distance of Vancouver to return your RV on time.
