Thanks for these link which will be very useful when we do have a connection.
Trip to Hyder would only happen if the weather is perfect (and we can get on to the ferry) for a trip up the Inside passage to Prince Rupert and on to Stewart. I am told this is one of the most magnificent drives in Canada - and I know that is saying something.
As our son is in Vancouver we should have other opportunities for this option, or if we do it, others at a later date.
In the mean tine we look forward to whatever we do - with or without WiFi, 3g, etc.
