We stop at least for a bathroom break at least every 90 minutes if we need to or not. When we stop, not only do I walk to the bathroom, but also around the area for a few minutes. It is as much to get the blood flowing as anything else. The dog will add to the excuse.
I feel much better after a 10 hour day when I've stopped often than after a 8 hour day when I didn't take the time to get out as often.
If you can leave on Friday and get those four hours in I would do it. That would knock off an hour each day. Plus that should put you in the edge of the mountains the first night so you wouldn't need AC even if you are doing this in June.
Sounds like a good plan on getting the most bang for your buck. If you trust her enough to go to the internship, then I see no problem trusting her to stay in your FW.
Make sure she know how to open and close the tank valve. You should not leave the valves open or you will get a solid build up in the tanks. You need the sudden woosh of the entire tank draining to pull the solids out. Also make sure she uses plenty of water when she flushes, lots more than if you were camping.
Have fun and enjoy the trip. Good luck to you and your daughter.
