questions on I-40 going west from NC to OK
OK I have never been past Knoxville, TN going west on I-40 to Lawton, Oklahoma. My questions are: Once I am past the smokey mountains on I-40 in NC/TN are there more mountains to climb to get to OK?...

I have driven 40 from Tulsa to East of Nashville. You will find areas of construction along the way, but the road is generally in good condition. There are hills but very few long mountains climbs once out of the Smokey Mountains.
