Rates at Maya Bell Campground

The $180 sounds like what we paid. We would never drive past without going there for at least two nights. One Christmas we spent talking in fractured Spanish with a Swiss couple who spoke only German and fractured Spanish, then the Mexican RV association showed up, we still have friends there. Last year it was a German couple who only spoke German and English. We went to Bonampak and Yaxchilan with them.

Thanks Marilyn. That sounds about right - we can handle that. We are really looking forward to it! Many of our travel friends have been and rave about it.

Last January it was $180pesos a night for 2 people in a truck camper hooked up to power but using the communal shower/bath area. Walking distance to ruins. Music every night. Worth every penny.

It's been 3 years for us. Not cheap, and that was for a moho with 2 people. It's what there is!

The last I saw was from a post back in 2010 at 300 pesos. Seems high…..

Since there are many hippy types living there - in tents - in the woods - in treehouses - in old campers - or whatever - I doubt it is costly. We stayed there a few years ago but do not remember costs. We loved it there. Music at night. Howlers. The ruins are amazing. Museum tour. Fun place. Many seem to have arrived years ago and never left. A unique and different place.

I did not find the rates on their site either Brain - and no email contact - which is very strangel. We don't have telephones. Guess we'll find out when we get there!
