Google Maps calls it 10 in Colorado and maybe 413 in UT. Kind of hard to tell what's what. I don't know if you've been in that area, but I lived in Dolores for some time and did a lot of exploring. It's gentle rolling hills, dryland farm country, but with steep and often very deep canyons. I personally wouldn't try that road with a long rig until I'd called Hovenweep and/or the county road dept. and heard what they say.

I haven't been to Hovenweep for ages, but I remember it as being narrow and washboard and not something I'd want to take a big rig on, but they may have improved it since then. You might also be able to get an idea from Google Earth, but I'd just call the folks at Hovenweep or the county road dept.
Be prepared to deal with the heat - it's hot there that time of year.
