This is our 4th summer in Alaska and I have to say this has been the wettest one yet. The good thing is it usually doesn't rain all that hard so with a rain jacket and a good hat we can continue exploring the sights and sites!
Good luck with your animal spotting in Denali. We had a fantastic week at Tek in July seeing all the "Big 5" plus the mountain was out several days. The cool wet days will bring more activity from the animals which should increase your sightings!
Enjoy it while you can and remember at least it is not 100+ here in Alaska!
