M.R. - We hadn't got down to any kind of reasonable discourse on the offer. It was out of line, which was VERY obvious. There is no way we could have replaced it and the equipment for what was offered. I'm not talking about a $1000 dollar difference. We weren't going to buy the replacement in Texas - our address is in Canada, so we expected less than what it would cost here, but not what they offered. We've dealt with insurance companies before and we know they are a bunch of thieving a++holes, but this was beyond that. As I said, making a "take it or leave it" offer and ceasing to communicate is not a normal business practice with anyone we would deal with again ! RYV
