We're heading to Alaska the middle of May. Hubby has never been there, and I was still in high school when I went last time.
We are not going to caravan, we're doing our best to avoid it in fact; those that want to go along with us all want to plan ahead for each day, where they'll be and exactly what they'll see, and we're more the "turn here, turn here!" type of travelers if we see something that looks interesting.
We aren't even sure yet which road we'll take, we're going to wing it as we go. We are so looking forward to it.
