By the way how long did your trip take from Laurel to Cody? We're trying to figure if we can make it in one day from Rapid City to Cody or should we spend the night in Laurel? Looks like there's a Walmart in Laurel that allows overnight parking, if needed
2Gypsies, sorry I didn't answer earlier about traveling in Aug and Sept. I agree that would have been a better choice but I need to be back home for doctors appointment in mid Sept.
Good advise about Mountain Directory, a friend has one which he's willing to lend us.
Does anyone have any recommendations to which is the best campgrounds near Bryce, Zion and Grand Canyon? Would love to make one stop and see them all. Thanks again to all.
