Eliminate any obvious things that can start a conversation about "is this or that, OK". Get rid of your house plants and any fresh fruit or vegetables. When they ask any question about "do you have this or that?", you want to be able to truthfully say "No". Anything that you have in your rig is readily available in Canada.

One last bit of advice...keep you mouth shut and just answer their questions. Don't ask any unnecessary questions.
