I would recommend Colter Bay RV Park in the Tetons (close to Jackson) then head north to Yellowstone through the south entrance. We stayed at Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone, a parking lot but with full hook-ups and reservation capability. Just out of Fishing Bridge is the Hayden Valley where we saw most of our animal sightings. Like others, I can't imagine spending just one day in Yellowstone. East out of Fishing Bridge to resume your trip.
