best way from reno,nv to cresent city,ca have 18 foot tt with 2014 ford expedition with tow package. we plan to travel in may 2015

- If you take 395, 36 and 44 to Old Station, the remainder of the trip is about the same time whether you get to the coast and head up, or if you take 89, I-5, 199. If weather is not a factor, but driving fatigue could be, I would get to Grants Pass and come down 199.
- what coolbreezeo1 said. We took that route in reverse and it was a good trip. 299 is twisty and a bit hilly but just allow plenty of time to go slow and enjoy the view!! We have a 34' DP and toad.
- Might find it easier to take I80 to Sacramento, I5 north 20 to 101 and 101 north.
- I would take 395, 36, 44, 299, 101 North. Have a smooth trip.
