What route do you have planned for your escape from NJ? I might be able to give you something a little less challenging as you are still in a location that can give you many poor choices in which to travel. There are lots of roads in NJ... there are the good, the bad and the ugly. Many were blazed before the USA existed and have not really been improved much since.
