Richmond area to OBX
Read that there is construction on Rt. 64. How bad is it? Is there another route to take to OBX?

US460 to US58 to I64 at Chesapeake then 168 down to NC then to Currituck. Then you can pick up US158 to head on down to Kitty Hawk
Have also gone on down thru Emporia and into NC and picked up US158 around Roanoke Rapids... More miles this way for for haha... We like seeing the country places alot too...
Not sure where the construction is on I64...
Have done this a couple of times with my smaller OFF-ROAD Starcraft 14RT POPUP trailer bypassing the mess around Hampton and Norfolk.
Also bypasses the tunnel where you have to have your propane tanks checked first by check station.
