Road (highway 46/41) from Paso Robles to 1-5
Is this route a good one for travel with a long 5th wheel trailer? The GPS suggests we drive north along 101 to San Jose and then link up with 1-5. We want to avoid any twisting mountain driving.

Driven 46 between Paso and I-5 numerous times. All good road, easy drive. As I've only come from the south on I-5 I have not driven on 41 so can't comment.
