We were in Big Bend in January 2014. Traveled from Ft. Stockton with no problem. Very good road. Stayed at Stillwell Ranch one night then moved to the parking lot RV Park with full hookups. All the parks had pros and cons. Be sure to have Everything you need for supplies. The Park stores have a good stocked inventory but prices are 2Xs. All the park roads were good but very desolute in places. Be sure to plan the day trips and take plenty of water. We took the trip across the RG river to Bouguilles, MX. Once in a lifetime adventure. We talked to the park ranger about safety before going. It was great. We totally enjoyed the 2 weeks we spent at the Texas Tip!
