Highway 12 is good. It is better on westside then east. Short stretch has limited shoulders. Narrow portion is between Rimrock lake and WA 410 junction.
Highway 14 is good. There are some tunnels but the height restriction is nothing to worry about. The tunnels are arched so heigth restriction is at fog line. Not aware or remember anything to worry about. 14 is a much slower pace. Good views along Columbia.
