Roads I love

I'm not sure whether anyone has posted this one, but it is not only one of my favorites, but a favorite of many RVers.

I got beat on that one, again, for sure. I have been there when we visited the Black Canyon in XXXX. I will have to google Ken Lay of Enron fame. He died near Aspen when we were on that jaunt. We were in Aspen on July 4th.

"No One" knows Colorado like Ken, Yes this was a picture of the gravel road from the Quarry to the town of Marble (Not going to miss-state the direction of the road), we stopped by just by chance one year during the Marble - Marble Symposium and enjoyed a week exploring and watching the Craftsmen/Women, working on the Marble, my hope is to get back one year and capture the same picture with the Golden Aspen on this road - Neat town and a great experience, just Beautiful and so Peaceful.

Biggest problem is there are so many Places in Colorado that I want to visit during that 10 day period when the Aspen Change - So many Places and so Little TIME.

No, but the road, lined with Aspen, is just a trail, the Town is between Carbondale and Delta.

It goes between the "Connection with DC" and the town.

My guess would be one of the mountain roads going to/from Georgetown. A typical beautiful aspen tree drive in Colorado.

Reminds me of the Ohio Creek Road going up to Crested Butte. But then, many such roads look much alike.

In the past year, I've been to a couple of CG's - one in Moab, one near Salida, CO - where I could get a cell signal on one side of the trailer but not the other! In both cases, I had to stand to talk, as the table was on the other, non-receiving, side of the trailer. Kept conversations a little shorter.
