Rock Springs, WY to Gros Ventre Campground
is 191 a good road to use? It was suggested to us to go thru Dubois to the park but looks a little out of the way since we are coming from the east on I-80. Just wondering how 191 is? Thanks Tara

Routes 287/26 are IMO a much better route than route 191. Route 191 avoids going over the Togwotee pass, but the pass is an easy climb and descent and the scenery between Dubois and the pass is great. Also great views of the Teton mountains gong down the west side.
IMO the only reason to use 191 would be if you were coming across I80 from the west.
