Rock Springs, WY to Gros Ventre Campground
is 191 a good road to use? It was suggested to us to go thru Dubois to the park but looks a little out of the way since we are coming from the east on I-80. Just wondering how 191 is? Thanks Tara

From I-80 at Rawlins it's 276 miles via 287 through Dubois to the Gros Ventre campground entrance.
From I-80 at Rawlins it's 295 miles via 191 through the VERY busy town of Jackson and to the Gros Ventre campground entrance.
Definitely take 287. It's shorter, more scenic and you don't have to go through Jackson.
