My DW and I traveled the new toll road from PP to San Luis last Feb. The road is good and no problem with any size Rig. The new port in San Luis is good and lane for RV without any tight maneuvering. Problem when we cam back, was the road in San Luis leading to the lanes at the port was being worked on and we had problems getting across the work to get into the lanes. We continued on and ended up on the toll road to Mexicali. At the toll gate we were told we could continue a couple of miles and turn around an get back to the port in San Luis.
Now the rest of the story. At the turn around point the sign pointed to Algadones and knowing there was a port there continued to Algadones. Those that have walked across the port there know that it is very tight. We were able to get a 39 foot MH with Dinghy without unhooking. I would not recommend it or want to do it again but it is able to be done. My advise is to use San Luis. The road leading to the port there should be done my this time.
Thanks for the info. I appreciate the post. - goff1256ExplorerThanks for the info
