We're rendezvousing with friends in Montana and they can't leave San Antonio until June 15 or 20. Am thinking it will take us a week to get to AK, from there. Are we leaving too late? After reading these posts, am I wrong in thinking that we are going to encounter more rain in July than we would in June? If we do stick with this timetable, which loop should we see first? I know we need to make reservations at Teklanika, also for Homer and Soldotna. We plan to stay at least 2 months, don't think our friends can stay that long. As always, my thanks for your help!
