Greetings all! We've been "lurking" for a while and I guess it's now time to officially join the fun. We're leaving from NE Georgia in early June taking a leisurely trip through the Badlands, Rushmore, Yellowstone, Glacier then turning north to Alaska. We'll plan on returning to Washington in early September then meander our way to Albuquerque by mid-October then traveling East to home. We are treating this trip as a "sampler" to get a feel for the places we'll want to come back to visit in the future as I know we can't see it all on a single trip to the Northwest. What I'm finding the most helpful is the "Packing List" and I really am appreciating all the good ideas. This summer, be sure to wave when you see the couple from Georgia as I know it will be us.
