:)Rachael and I will be headed up about the middle of June in our 2003
Dodge 2500 , Cummins, 5 spd manual , 125 gallon fuel tank,12000 pound winch mounted on front . Pulling a 2005 Airstream 22 foot trailer that's pulling a home made one wheel
trailer with the generator and "stuff" in it. two spare tires and
and wheels for each unit, belts, hoses , air compressor , U-joints ,
tools, tire tools , grease gun, etc. etc. etc.
We might be a bit heavy on tools, parts and equipment, but we would
rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
The Dodge could handle the weight of three of our 22 ft Airstreams
so can easily take more "STUFF" without straining anything.
Do not expect nearly as many rock related tire problems as the last time I drove up to Alaska back in 1970, of course it was mostly ALL dirt and gravel then and there were no steel belted radial tires, all
nylon and rayon.
Will be more than happy to assist fellow travelers along the road
any way we can, the same as we did back in 1970.:)
